README version 1.6

Windows XP v.1.6 is only for the basic TI-83, not TI-83+ or TI-83+ SE or any other model of TI's graphing calculator line

Windows XP AKA Windfall XP is almost a clone of the widely popular Windows XP. It is smaller than the old version (Windfall 9.1), faster, and many more improvements. The free size on VTI is 9622 bytes not set up or approximately 11131 bytes set up. Its very easy to use if you know how to use Windows XP. Some notes that you may need to know are that the arrow keys control the mouse, and enter is the left mouse button. The Turn Off menu pictures from left to right (Exit), (Turn Off), (Hibernate). Exit exits the program, if you haven't figured that out. Turn Off saves all the settings and locks all the programs, then turns off the calculator. Hibernate, one of my loved features on Windows XP, saves all the stuff open at the time, (which at this time would only be the Turn Off menu) and turns off the calculator. When you turn the calculator back on, its on the same screen you left it on when you turned it off, the problem is is that when it returns, it runs slower (I have no idea why). My Documents is now working, it works just like the program folder.

Talking about the custom program program, you edit it (preferably on your computer) Wherever it says Text(??,40,"EMPTY" replace empty with the program name, not the one in the calculators built in menu, but a name of your choice. Scroll down until you see "PROGRAM 1" and look at the empty space below. Copy the program name from the program menu (ex. PINBALL) and type in prgmPINBALL. Follow these same steps for all other program addins. Oh, just so you know, don't type in AWINXP83, I think it will get really buggy. Don't be scared when you exit Windows and you go to the program menu and don't see all the programs, this is for your own benefit, it shortens the program menu significantly, and also keep you or your friends or you from deleting all of your program files.

The Documents folder is almost identical to program. You have to put in the command to display the document. If you want to show a string, you would type in "Disp Str1". You could also use the Documents folder as a larger programs folder. In TI-Graphlink 83 click Edit, Find,
Installation:	Installation is pretty simple, just start AWINXP83 and it will automatically boot into the setup program. Follow the onscreen instructions. After the installation, its recomended that you delete SETUP. It does not affect anything, unless matrix J is messed with, you will need to send SETUP back to you TI-83. Knowm bugs in 1.6

-Settings does not go to a settings folder, just a way to adjust the contrast because its not finished
-Windows XP still seems slow, because it is still slow, all I said was that I made it faster, unfortunatly, I cannot make the mouse move any faster.

Known bugs in 2.0

Windows keeps on telling me that my battery is low. (If your contrast is set to 9, it will say this because it is harmful for Windows to crash because it will go slower) The solution is to get new batteries, or set your contrast down some if you batteries are in fair shape.

I hope you enjoy Windows XP.
